19 January 2005 - 14:58 The oddest thing just happened. I looked out the window of my 23rd floor office and thought I saw snow. But no. It was, in fact small pieces of paper, like they had been ripped many times over by hand. Odd, because I'm on the top floor of this tower... ...and we just got an announcement that there is a fire on the deliveries level but that we should all remain calm. The world seems to be turning without me today. I can see motion in all directions but can only focus on the obscure and insignificant. I like it when that happens. It inspires and soothes me.
